The Lowell Transfer Station is a fully licensed and permitted waste transfer station. Located in Lowell, Indiana, our facility is open to the public to dump construction debris and general household trash. Many times self-hauling is less expensive than ordering a dumpster. Hazardous waste
Oils
Liquids
Tires
Flammable liquid
Drums (unless empty and cut in half)
Chemicals
Medical waste
 

HOW TO DUMP AT OUR FACILITY:

As you enter the property, drive onto the truck scale and pull up to the stop sign. Our scale attendant will contact you over the load speaker. Once you are told to go, drive off the scale to the transfer station building. Wait for the heavy equipment operator to signal you to back into the building. After you dump your load, drive back to the scale and pull onto it from the opposite direction. Wait for the green light. Drive off the scale and park in our customer parking. Walk to our cashier window to make your payment and receive your dump ticket.

  • Please drive slowly. Maximum speed is 10 mph.
  • Watch for trucks and heavy equipment moving around the property.
  • Please untarp before backing into the transfer station.
  • No one under the age of 16 is allowed outside of the vehicle.

A minimum of 1 ton is charged to each load.
